Closed group programmes offer a group of students from the same community the opportunity to experience life in the UK or Ireland.
We work closely with a range of schools across the UK and Ireland to provide your group with the best programme possible. Groups will immerse themselves in local life, stay with dedicated host families and learn alongside local students.
Excursions and activities can be arranged for groups to make the most of their overseas trip. Daytrips to London, visits to Oxford and Cambridge or sporting activites make for memorable experiences alongside studies. If there is somewhere your group would especially like to visit, we can help arrnge that too.
Closed group immersions can take place at any point during the academic year (September to July), subject to availability at the school.
To ensure smooth integration from day one, each international student will be assigned a local British ‘buddy’ student, who they will attend classes with. The buddy student will be responsible for making their new friend feel welcome and will help them to settle into their new routine.
Students will be able to connect with their assigned buddy via email and social media prior to arrival, so they can become a little familiar with each other before meeting on the first day of the programme.
International students will attend the same classes as their buddy, therefore the number and range of subjects studied will depend upon their age and the subjects that the local ‘buddy’ has selected.
